Anyone heard anything about maybe seeing a Deadman Archive? Am I the only one who would like to see it?

I forgot to take out the garbage, so I told my wife I would wear this mark of shame on my sig:
I am not a man, but a tiny weakling in the face of the GREATNESS of my gorgeous wife!

Given the $75 slipcase reprinting of the Adams stories just 2 years ago, a "Deadman Archive" is probably a decade or more away.

But they didnt even use good quality paper...s'not fair! It's also a shame that Deadman will not be part of the archive line. Well, there's always Doctor Fate

I've always considered the paper in the slipcases to be better than the paper in the archives... It has a nice, warm feel to it, rather than the glare of the archive stuff.

Wasn't there some controversy as well about re-inking or re-coloring some of the stories?

I'm with you, Bill. Though i haven't seen the Deadman compilation specifically, I dislike the cold 'blue'-ness of the Archives paper, and much prefer the warm 'yellow'-ness of the "Greatest Stories Ever Told" series, and a few others. The Archives just look too slick and don't have that newsprint feel.

Given the failure of the underrated monthly series, I doubt if we'll see anything soon but a TPB of the Lopez/Aparo 80s stories would be welcome.
